In 1954, Mrs. Nongnooch and Mr. Pisit bought approximately 600 acres of rolling hills and valleys, Pattaya in Chonburi Province. The land was bought with the anticipation of developing a fruit plantation land of mangoes, oranges, coconuts, and other exotic local fruits.

During her abroad visit, she was inspired by the beauty of renowned gardens. She then decided to turn the fruit orchard into a beautiful tropical garden of exotic flowers and plants. The place was later converted into a fully equipped tourist attraction with facilities such as accommodation, swimming pool, restaurants, banquet and seminar halls for tourists.

The garden was opened for public in 1980, and Thai Cultural Show and Elephant Show were added as a daily attraction within theaters. Three years later, the management was handed to her son, Mr. Kampon Tansacha, and today it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions, making it one of the best places to visit in Thailand.
